Novotel Annecy Centre, Annecy

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spare but spacious, looked out onto a rail line which had its charm, and offered all the necessary amenities. They were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. However, the dining was not exceptional, and some extra charges were surprising. The service, though friendly, had some hygiene concerns. The location was convenient for exploring the area, but the presence of the rail line did lead to occasional noise disruptions.

The service was excellent with a very professional and courteous staff. The location was quite acceptable, providing easy access to the lake and old town areas. The dining experience was great overall, although the coffee was not up to par. The facilities were top-notch.

The hotel offers nice executive rooms with delectable amenities, although they appear smaller than in the pictures. The superior queen room has additional features like a Nespresso machine which we didn't have in our room. The service was efficient and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay with helpful staff who resolved a price change issue promptly. The location is above the train station, providing a unique experience of feeling the train pass by and being conveniently close to the town center. The dining options, while offering gluten-free choices, were satisfactory but not abundant for a 4-star hotel. Overall, a well-located hotel with friendly service and comfortable rooms, though with some minor room discrepancies and limited dining choices.
